Week 1: Retention Analysis
I’m so excited to help you find more profitability, retention, and JOY in your business with the upcoming BFS sprint course: Optimizing Customer Lifetime Value (with Retention). Here are some ways you can best prepare for the sprint which begins 5/21.
Help me get to know you. Email me rox@fitbizrox.com or fill out this Discovery Form (should take only 5-10m) to tell me more about your business so I can ensure you get the most from this course. Minimally I’d love to know your business name, modalities, and location.
Gather some metrics. We are going to spend some time talking about retention, industry averages, and looking at some key performance indicators to help us better understand your current business reality. If you have some data you already track, you can bring that to our first session and/or share that with me. If you don’t, you can take some time to document a few things in advance. I prefer and suggest spreadsheets for such things but this is totally up to you. Please document revenue, revenue change over time, recurring revenue / memberships, any retention numbers you can find, and bonus for capacity utilization.
Each software system has it’s own reporting style. The following templates can be used as a starting point if you don’t have anything already. Each template has a column with instructions on finding the report and suggested filters. You are welcome to get started filling this out and I will also cover some of this during our first call.
